Hail to the King

Hey gang,

My friend Jason Mehmel and I have applied to our friendly neighbourhood government for a grant to produce a Gilgamesh Graphic Novel. The term comic book isn't in the gov't terminology apparently. Here's a promo shot we've sent in with the grant and so we wait and see what happens. In the meantime I'll be working on a more cartoony expressive style, as well as some finalized character studies.

Hey, been a long I know. I'm busy working on three pitches for the animation studio I work at. Once that's done, it's on to the Nobodies issue 2. Tonight was a really good drink and draw though, I drew up Vampire Girl vs. Frankenstein girl. Haven't watched the movie, I just liked the idea.

Howdy! Here's a drunken concept for a pin-up project for the future. If it works when I'm drunk and it still looks good when I sober up, then I say this concept is great success!

I haven't posted much lately, due to me working on a pitch project or two for the fall.

Considering doing a Nobodies blog when Issue 2 starts to ramp up later this year.
