Hey gang,

My friend Jason Mehmel and I have applied to our friendly neighbourhood government for a grant to produce a Gilgamesh Graphic Novel. The term comic book isn't in the gov't terminology apparently. Here's a promo shot we've sent in with the grant and so we wait and see what happens. In the meantime I'll be working on a more cartoony expressive style, as well as some finalized character studies.

Hey, been a long I know. I'm busy working on three pitches for the animation studio I work at. Once that's done, it's on to the Nobodies issue 2. Tonight was a really good drink and draw though, I drew up Vampire Girl vs. Frankenstein girl. Haven't watched the movie, I just liked the idea.

Howdy! Here's a drunken concept for a pin-up project for the future. If it works when I'm drunk and it still looks good when I sober up, then I say this concept is great success!

I haven't posted much lately, due to me working on a pitch project or two for the fall.

Considering doing a Nobodies blog when Issue 2 starts to ramp up later this year.

And the Calgary Drink and Draw finally has a blog, so cheggit out!

Got derailed on my Mad Maxathon. I'll get back on that horse quick. Finished my Deja Vu comic book story for Rocket Juice. That comes out at the Expo later this month.

I turned 10 000 days old on April 1st. Weird number but I like it.

Drew some Total Recall stuff at Drink and Draw tonight. One of Arnold's best.

Here's a pic of me as the Prisoner, done for a giveaway poster at Coversion last weekend. Next we have a Victorian Age Ghost Rider and a Caleb-inspired head pile. Drink and draw is awesome!

I'll be working on a comic for the rest of the month. Still waiting for the Mad Max trilogy to pop-up on blu-ray. I have an itchin' to draw post-apocalyptic Aussies.
